Let the Insanity Continue

Well, I failed at NaNoWriMo, so onward and upward. I'm now going to try and finish my Drkana project with 85K90-2020. For those of you who don't know this writing challenge, it starts January 1st and you attempt to write 85K in three months and then use the remainder of the year to edit and prep for a publishable novel by the end of the year. I'm hoping it will fit my style better as I cannot easily write on demand. My characters keep their own hours and never punch a timeclock! I am excited that NaNo got me a good rough start and I hope to write the third book next November.

I continue to struggle with query on Amrit as there are very few agents in my specific genre. It is like combing haystacks to find needles to continue sending letters out. I know I can't quit until I have 99 rejections, hopeful I will get the 1 out of 99 before though. I have looked at publishing a hard bound copy just for myself, but each self-publishing company requires an ISBN number and I am not "published" yet. Anyone have any suggestions? How about graphic artist that are willing to do the final design in Adobe InDesign? I don't have the program, but can mock it up in Word. I just need someone to check my work. If I get published I won't have a choice in how it looks. As it stands now, I want a copy of "MY" book before it goes into the cruel world to make it big. #drkana #tchristofer #amrit
