The New Normal

I have worked at home many times in my life. I have also been an entrepreneur three times, so when COVID-19 hit, and society started a full fledged panic, I was prepared. I am what I have heard called an Extroverted-Introvert. I do enjoy people for the most part, but day in and day out having to be on my "game", is exhausting. Today was my first half day of working remotely from home, as a precaution against the spread of COVID-19. I am pleased that my office has chosen to err on the side of caution, without putting me out of a paycheck. Some of us need it. Especially, if you are a starving artist/author like myself. I am finding that I have an abundance of energy today. I think the change has been good for me and made me much more productive. I normally work in a small windowless office most days. Today I had sunshine and birds chirping to accompany the occasional outbursts from my dog. There are a lot more people walking by the house during this isolation. Families actually biking together, and couples walking their dogs. I had a video "meet me for a glass of wine" with my friends, and have been catching up on the home projects and yard work during the weekends that I've been putting off with other things to go and do. I'm liking this "new normal". How about you? #tchristofer
